The work at AMPM
Commercial installs, containment, distribution, small power and lighting; planned and reactive maintenance on managed estates; testing and inspection.
Cross-over with the fire and security side: emergency lighting, fire alarm containment and first fix often land with our electricians.
Kit, systems, standards
- Commercial LV, containment, distribution
- EICR testing and inspection
- Emergency lighting to BS 5266
Tickets we look for
- 18th Edition (BS 7671), NVQ Level 3, AM2
- 2391 testing and inspection a plus
- ECS/CSCS, driving licence
Pay
Every role carries a salary band, with paid overtime and shared call-out on top. The number is agreed in conversation; the guide carries the market picture.
Where you join the ladder
Apprentice → Mentor → Practitioner → Master. Time-served electricians join as Practitioners; approved electricians and supervisors as Masters. The Academy certifies where you already sit; nobody restarts at the bottom.
