Electrical / Mechanical Engineer (Commercial Building Services)

£34k to £47k DOE · Full time · London & the South East · Field-based from Burgess Hill

Standing requirement, open all year. Commercial installs, planned and reactive maintenance across electrical, plumbing, heating and mechanical services for managed estates, Tier 1s and FM providers. Experienced engineers top out in the mid to high £40s base, with £50k+ realistic once paid overtime and shared call-out are in.

The work

Electrical: containment, distribution, small power, lighting, EICR testing
Mechanical: heating plant, hot and cold water services, pipework, pumps and controls
Cross-over with the fire and security side: emergency lighting and first fix often land here

What we're looking for

Electrical: 18th Edition, NVQ Level 3, AM2; 2391 a plus
Mechanical: NVQ Level 2/3 plumbing or heating; commercial Gas Safe a strong plus
ECS/CSCS; clean UK driving licence
