The work at AMPM
Fabric maintenance on managed commercial and residential estates: brickwork and blockwork repairs, rendering and patching, roofing and rainwater goods, fencing, paths and groundworks.
Project work alongside our M&E teams on refurbishments: builders who can work to a programme with other trades, not around them.
Compartmentation and firestopping work is growing fast under the Building Safety Act; fabric operatives who want the passive fire tickets get trained into them.
Kit, systems, standards
- Brickwork, blockwork, rendering, patch repairs
- Groundworks, drainage, fencing, external works
- Roofing repairs and rainwater goods; access equipment (IPAF/PASMA)
Tickets we look for
- Time served on the tools; NVQ where held
- CSCS; IPAF/PASMA a plus, trained if not; driving licence
- Multi-trade experience valued over paper
Pay
Every role carries a basic salary range, with overtime and a van on top.
Where you join the ladder
Apprentice → Mentor → Practitioner → Master. Experienced builders join as Practitioners; working foremen as Masters with Mentor responsibility. The Academy certifies where you already sit; nobody restarts at the bottom.
